Job Description:

Genesis10 is seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer for a six-month contract-to-hire role with a financial company in New Berlin, WI.

Responsibilities:
Design cloud solutions using Azure services, such as Azure App Service, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Scale Sets, Azure VDI, etc
Implement and deploy cloud solutions using Terraform pipelines, PowerShell, CLI, or other tools
Plan and execute the migration of on-premises systems to Azure
Optimize and troubleshoot cloud solutions for performance, scalability, security, and reliability
Establish monitoring and management capabilities for cloud resources using Azure policies, tags, alerts, dashboards, and logs
Create virtual networks with efficient performance and security to handle workloads
Provide technical leadership to developers


Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in cloud, design, support, and troubleshooting
5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS technologies
Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service, VDI, Scale Sets, and load balancing.
Hands-on experience deploying cloud assets using Terraform pipelines
Strong understanding of IP subnetting, Network Security Groups, routing, Azure Firewall, load balancing, DNS, and other network protocols
Strong knowledge of cloud design patterns, principles, and best practices
Strong knowledge of cloud security, governance, and regulatory compliance.
Strong knowledge of Azure networking and connectivity options, including VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, and load balancing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


Preferred Experience:
Experience with administrative scripting using PowerShell or Azure CLI
eExperience running VMWare virtual machines in Azur

Compensation: $75 per hour W2H
