General Manager who will be responsible for growing and managing an
independent business operation which encompasses the functions of
Sales, Rental, and Product Support, with an emphasis on value added
service development. This individual will need to establish and
lead a team with the necessary skills, focused on safety and
continuous improvement, to manage the quality of the products and
the services experienced by our customers.PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
- Full responsibility for location profit and loss statement.
Analyzes and controls expenditures of business to conform to
divisional budgetary requirements. Develops an operating/business
plan that supports the divisional and corporate and business plan.
Makes strategic decisions to ensure profitability of business.
- Acts to align business goals with the strategic direction of
Rion Equipment. Reviews market information to determine customer
needs, volume potential, price schedules, discount rates, and
assists in development of sales campaigns to accommodate goals of
the business unit.
- Carries out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the
organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsible for
interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning,
and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and
disciplining employees.
- Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination
with sales representatives. Meets with key clients, assisting sales
representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and
closing deals, while managing the customer sales activity to
retain, develop and activate past customers.
- Ensures that the operation is run efficiently and safe, and
that the facility is well organized, professional, and clean.
Maintains inventory at acceptable levels to allow for company
established turn, aging, revenue, etc. goals are met.BENEFITS:
