03/28/2025IntroductionWe are seeking a Director, Business
Development to join our Crushing Products team. The Director,
Business Development will lead strategic initiatives to drive
growth and expand market presence for the Crushing Products
Business Line (CSP). This pivotal role involves generating,
supporting, and executing business decisions across multiple
product groups. Key responsibilities include strategic planning,
project management, business support, M&A, and the development
of new projects and services. This position reports to the SVP,
Crushing Products BL and is a member of the CSP leadership team.
This position has flexibility on location, but would include up to
25% travel.What you'll do
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets
and expand addressable market.
- Work closely with product groups and other internal teams to
develop and implement targeted sales strategies, service concepts,
and new go-to-market models.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key
stakeholders and strategic partners to drive growth.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business
opportunities and market trends.
- Assist with negotiations and closing agreements to maximize
profits.
- Lead the development of business cases, financial projections,
analysis, and valuation of potential significant business
opportunities including acquisitions and partnerships.
- Identify areas and assist with implementation of strategies and
technologies to enhance efficiencies, reduce costs, and improve
overall productivity.
- Collaborate with product groups to define, enhance, and
communicate vision for product portfolio.Who you arePreferred
Education/Training/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing,
finance, or a related field. A Master's degree can be
advantageous.
- 7+ years related experience.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- A team mindset and the ability to quickly establish strong
working relationships with internal stakeholders & external
advisers.
- Strong leadership and relationship building skills, a bias for
action, and detail-oriented behavior is required.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, and the ability
to influence stakeholders at senior levels internally and target
company ownership.
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
with the ability to effectively express ideas in individual or
group situations (including non-verbal communication) and be fully
able to adjust to the needs and characteristics of the
audience.
- Understanding of customer needs, market requirements, and
finely developed negotiation skills.
- Ability to collect data & information to make strategic
analysis & recommendations.
- Must be capable of effectively and accurately working on
several projects at one time, and organizing, prioritizing tasks
