We are looking for a qualified QC/QA Supervisor for 2nd shift 3pm-11pm to organize production according to demand and quality standards. You will be the one to ensure our goods are produced on time for distribution in a profitable manner.The QC/QA Supervisor will oversee daily operations of the QA and QC team, ensuring that all products and processes adhere to company and industry standards. This role involves leading a team of QC Lab Technicians and QA Line Auditors.

• Supervise and provide leadership to lab techs and line auditors
• Develop direct reports
• Manage lab and line coverage - willing to work off shifts if needed
• Work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure compliance to regulatory, customer and company requirements
• Reviews daily production schedule and adjusts the quality departments schedule to ensure testing and reporting are met
• Maintain proper lab supply inventory levels
• Review testing data/investigate out of spec results. Escalate out of spec data.
• Assist in customer complaint investigations
• Oversee quality programs and assist with implementation
• Review and maintain COAs for incoming truck deliveries
• Assist with continuous improvement projects
• Assist in hiring and training employees
• Ensure the Team follows GMPs and GDPs
• Additional duties as assigned by manager

    • Knowledge of 5S Practices
    • Proficient in laboratory techniques, instrumentation and data analysis
    • Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations such as GMP and GLP. (ISO standards are a plus)
    • Must be able to climb stairs, sit and stand for long periods, and type for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 50 pounds
    • Basic computer skills are a plus
    • Strong decision-making skills
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication abilities
    • The ability to meet productivity goals and standards
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Overtime/Weekends/Holidays will be required during peak/seasonal volumes
