Job Title: Radiology Technologist Job Specialty: Diagnostic Radiology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 1st Shift (Start times ranging from 0700-0830, No weekends/holidays) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: - One year of current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology preferred. - Clinical student experience may be considered in lieu of one year of current clinical experience. License: - Registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology. - Current state license as a Radiographer. Certifications: - American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent. Must-Have: - One year of current clinical experience OR clinical student experience. - Self-motivated with the ability to organize and prioritize effectively. - Ability to remain flexible and reorganize priorities when emergencies arise. Job Description: - Prepare patients and perform radiographic procedures in diagnostic radiology. - Operate imaging equipment in accordance with guidelines and protocols. - Utilize appropriate radiation protection measures. - Adhere to organizational customer service standards and support excellence initiatives. - Provide positive and effective communication with patients, visitors, and staff. - Perform ancillary services and assist in patient care areas as necessary. - Complete other duties as assigned.
